EmmS

Electrical Mining Electrical & Maintenance Solutions (EmmS) specialise in providing contract labour hire to the Quarries and the Mining Industry.

Labour Force

Our labour force will handle all aspects of onsite work from High Voltage installations and maintenance as well as site operators, electricians, drivers and general clean-up and maintenance crews.

Our employees are personally handpicked, interviewed and vetted to make sure that they will fit into the local environment, perform well with their peers and be able to contribute to the team environment and add value to our clients.

Work Health & Safety

We pride ourselves in maintaining safety levels above and beyond the requirements of the Work, Health, Safety and Environment requirements utilising state of the art personal and self-monitoring technology to give us the leading edge over our competitors.

Added Value

It is not just our labour hire force that you get but we go beyond in every way. If you need something done fast, or you can’t source something, or you have issues that you just cannot resolve we are at your call 24/7 to keep your organisation moving.

With 30 years of experience our local knowledge and vast support network of Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineers, give us the ability to get things done when others can’t, let us do the running around for you so you can keep on moving with the larger projects that you need to focus on.

Client satisfaction and productivity sooner

Our employees assimilate faster, reach greater productivity sooner and are employed for longer because they are personally interviewed and vetted by our management that has over 30 years’ experience in the mining, quarrying and industrial electrical field.

Employees are not selected just from their resumes to assess their suitability, cross fingers and given a job. This process may work for the short time labour hire but rarely works for a stable work force and is far from adequate for the modern clients whom expects results immediately, expects a stable workforce and demands productivity 24 /7.

Occupational health & safety policy

Work, health and safety is our number one priority and we encourage a work safe attitude with the goal to develop a successful safety culture in the work environment.

Our commitment is for our employees and the people around them to go home safely without injury by providing a working environment that is safe and has minimum or no risk to health and safety.

At minimum we endeavour to comply with the Work Health and Safety Act, Regulations and statuary provisions governing Work health, Safety, Rehabilitation and Welfare but our goal is to embrace a health and safety culture that goes beyond these standard requirements.

To achieve our high standards, we have developed and are constantly reviewing, strengthening and improving our framework of our Safety Health and Management System which has specific measurable objectives to help secure the health and safety of the workers and the workplace.

We recognize that Work, Health and Safety is a two-way conversation between management and employees where we share everyone’s knowledge and experience to achieve a safer and healthier work place.

Reporting is paramount and employees have access to a variety of reporting methods including a digital form that records their input encouraging them to participate in constant review and consultation of all aspects of health and safety in their workplace.

Managing risk is of the highest priority and an ongoing process of identifying, prioritising and controlling anything that can cause harm. Our Risk Management Policy ensures employees are constantly updated, trained, given instruction and revision to make sure that they have all the controls necessary to report, manage and minimize risk.

We maintain an extremely high value on worker capability with each employee personally vetted, reviewed and assisted to make sure that everyone is competent to their individual employment. We encourage ongoing training, instruction and supervision to enable all employees to carry out high standards of safe work practices in the workplace.

The safety of an individual comes before all other considerations. No employee or Sub-contractor is required to carry out any task that they are not qualified to do or which they consider to be unsafe or not within their capability.

If the worst case occurs and an injury does prevent an employee from returning to work, we have an excellent Return to Work Policy that shows our commitment to getting that employee back to work with rehabilitation, communication and re-integration.
